Resolved Question: Why is capital punishment still legal in the US?

We are the only Western-Industrialized nation that hasn't abolished captial punishment. Canada, Australia, UK, Norway, Sweden, Germany, France, Spain, Poland, Russia, Italy, Finland, Ukraine, Iceland, Austria, Czech Republic, Belgium, Netherlands, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, Ecuador, Romania, Denmark, Lithuania, Estonia, Latvia, Armenia, Portugal, Ireland, and many more have abolished it.
